Partially housed in an original 1940’s fisherman’s shanty, the museum also includes the wheelhouse of a 1912 lake-freighter, and the 1932 fishtug, Almidart. Galleries will feature hands-on workshops with some of the giant puppets used in last year’s “Lion on the Lake” pageant and screening of vintage local home movies.
